"Whatever It Takes" is an amazing piece of composed experimental/industrial/(post-)harsh noise music. I thoroughly enjoy the compositions as they seem to have been carefully crafted and involve several different techniques ranging from something that sounds like a raw, crude no-input mixer feedback, distorted harsh noise textures and layers of heavy synth. It's also great to see yet another noise artist experiment with the use of minimal melody which adds to the haunting atmosphere of the album.

This might be the heaviest offering from Tourette as it is mostly just a collection of long stretches of amplified and distorted sounds of crumbling metal junk which sounds like a soundtrack to internal decay. For some reason it reminds me of MSBR's "Collapseland", not at all in terms of sound but rather in terms of the images the compositions evoke. I have massive respect for Tourette's talent and this release fits nicely in his stunning body of work.
